I was driving down the Pacific coast highway...close to where I live in California. The sun, through the clouds, had this light on the ocean...much like a spotlight. But there wasn't any specific subject in the ocean other than the spot light itself! So I hiked to a different point and found two people walking on the beach. I thought that they would make a good subject with the brilliant light as the backdrop.
The colors are muted, obviously because of the sun (and reflection) pointing into the lens.
I wonder if the bushes on the right are too intrusive?

P.S: I recently saw a very similar image but with much better colors that mine. Anyhow...that inspired me to upload this image.
Good light and colours. I don't mind the bushes on the right, perhaps only the dark spot (bush as well?) near the middle if anything. The two people really make me appreciate the scale of the picture; the light and the huge size of the ocean make this a very dramatic shot!
