Hi Michele,it`s not the fancy equipment that gets wonderful images,it`s the person clicking the shutter. My Dimage7 that I uses exclusively for IR is ancient but gives me AWESOME images both qualitywise and IR. IMO that`s the best and easiest IR camera available with 14mb tiff files. Hope you get your camera soon but do research it first. Re Alicia...that`s what this community is for,to help by words and deed. You are most welcome and if you want my help with IR just ask,for in-flight birds go to Marcus and Yamil!!! That`s very nice of you to say 'thanks' once again and it`s appreciated, glad I helped. Take care Michele. Robbie

Hi Robbie,
Thank you so much for checking out some of my images...I am sorry I have 'no IR' 'no PS' and a very small lens ...but one day soon I hope to get a decent camera, and all these interesting fun programs to play with too!
Thank You for your very kind and generous comment ! I am lucky to live in a beautiful place, where the natural beauty works fairly good most of the time !
I appreciate your time very much and again for translating last Sat. for myself and Alicia !
Best wishes, Michele~

Hi Michele,
Very impressive romantic image you put here. Well chosen the person ont the beach and the bird in the sky. These two add a lot to this very nice photo to look at. Fine atmosphere you show us here and well caught and captured. The fog adds a bit of mystery to the picture. So these ingrdients lead to this beautiful image.
See you my friend, Albert

Hi Paul,
Yes...you got me there with the over-exposed foreground. I can't keep blaming the camera forever either ! I need the new camera !!!!!
Thank you for the thoughtful critique you are getting better at it !( critiqueing)
I rarely attempt much critiqueing yet except for what I emotionally feel .... You are leaps and bounds ahead of me !!
I see your work getting better and better and You do know much more about the mechanics of photography as well.... Yes, keep shooting Paul... Both of us !!
Best Wishes my friend, Michele~

Hi Annemette,
Thank You for your comments, they are very encouraging. Oh You would love the beauty here, as I would love the beauty in Denmark I am sure. Generally it IS FREEZING here especially when there is Fog.... when it is very warm in the vallley like Salem or Portland we do get this dry fog.... which is rather more like smoke without the smell. It does give a strange view ......
Best Wishes, Michele~

Thank You for your kind comments Rashed. This encourages one to keep on shooting (the camera) when sometimes we are not sure what others see.

Alittle overexpose towards the top Michele but Im sure you know this and with your camera I'm sure it more difficult to get a really good exposure in these type of conditions! I love the photo however and the touch of over exposure does not really harm the shot that much. It a great composition and shows really good depth with what you have added in the frame...... The fog effect is also nice. Keep shooting and getting better........ You and me both......:)
Take care,
Paul

Dear Michele I do get a feeling of the beauty of this place although the fog is heavy. Imagine! Had it been so foggy here, it would have been freezing. I´ve always wanted to go to Oregon because I´ve heard that it should be such a beautiful state. Keep on shooting from nature around you. I´m really interested in seing these photos:-) All the best, Annemette

Ohhh I think when the tide does come in real high you can't crosss anyway because the stream that runs thru the beach fills up as well and the beach is then just gone.... or rather under water. I know it sounds sort of made up Doyle but I do believe this is true. I used to work out here about 10 yrs. ago and in the winters I don't remember seeing the beach, cross my heart ! ( I will call and double check tho )

I think it is because it can only be on private property.... (?)
It's more like a look-out kind of deck .. . . ... >?<
You ask a very good question Doyle because it's just always been this way for as long as I can remember.... and I honestly don't know why but I can call and find out for sure... I am really leaning towards the look-out deck tho ...
