Hey, I really like this one. It shows exactly Britain the way so many tourists like it. The water, the houses the road coming down the hill. A beautiful and inspiring composition. Very well done. The coulours, especially of the water, are really fascinating. I really like this one.
cheers, Stefan

Nice balance and composition Sue. The colours are rich and vivid, especially on the water, and I like the way the onlooker is drawn in a natural way into the photo.

Thank you Dave. I cropped this down as there was a lot of darkness to the left side, though my main focus was the water here... I thought leaving the darkness to the left sends the eye more to the right & the water. Saying that I went back to the image & adjusted the lighting to bring out the detail... the result I like more... brings some focus to the light catching the sand just under the bridge. Have attached a copy for you to see :)
When I have finished editing all the photos from the Whitby Moot I'm going to have a selection of the best printed in a photobook... I'm going with this second attempt, as I now like it more than the original... thank you for the advise.
Keep well & bright Sue x

Thank you Michele... I'm really glad you enjoy my photos so.
It is entirely up to you what you call me (within reason of course..lol)
My birthname is Susan, though Sue will do fine. 'Quix' is kind of my 'knick name' it is pronounced 'key' :)
Keep well & bright x

This is beautiful x .... x --- Are you sure you want me to call you this ? It feels wierd but I won't ask again if this is your wish... I love the reflections in the water and the narrow mountain road, and tall buildings... It's beautifully composed, and gives me another perspective of the United Kingdom. Oh ...also love the moss on the rocks... Well done,
Best wishes , Michele~

Another nicely done composition, Sue! My only nitpick would be to try and bring out a little more detail in the shadows on the left hand side. I like the way you've got the mooring ropes leading into the image. Dave.
