This is a great idea! The colours and the shapes wonderful. Strong, clear and so beautiful.

Many thanks Clint ~ this started as a simple close-up of Foxgloves (digitalis) .. I left some extra green to get a contrasting colour and pattern in the centre.. not difficult to do if you have photoshop ~ or any software that has polar co-ordinate filters.. fun to do and great therapy on a rainy night ~ LOL! best to you, susie

My Goodness, what saturation of colours! No idea what I'm looking at but love it. No way my camera could do this! Nor could I paint it! Painter Clint!

Hi Brian ~ thanks for the comments.. this was done by first cropping to square then playing with the polar co-ordinate filters in PS.. picked the 'side' I liked best then cut and flipped it for symmetry.. hope that makes sense! regards, susie
