I've had that happen to me seeing one thing is a thumbnail and then the image turns into something else when en-larging it !!
hmm mmore grass - ground in the bottom of the image.. A good suggestion , thank you John !

Well...believe it or not, from the thumpnail I though these are big rocks islands!!!!! With that shape????? lol....
Nice image, perchaps I could give some more grass - ground at the bottom of the image to make it a bit richer.

I'll be flipping from this to show my support for a friend who is trying to develop a group of people wishing to keep nationality OUT of photography . . . in a kind of Doctors without Borders mentality . . . and my National flag . . . because I always support the good ol' USA. She normally says something like "One People, Many tribes" . . . and we're all children of God. Just a temp thing.

Nicely done Michele! Really. The sparkles of the light reflecting off the waves . . . currents and wind mixing the waters . . . The double pole accent . . . not quite centered (though a tad close) . . . the interplay of light and shadow on the surface of the water show some concentric circular areas which add some dynamic impact . . .
I've looked through some of the comments and I think the foliage left in does add an accent to the shot (My opinion). Michele, the only thing I think might improve this very good shot would be a slightly tighter crop that pulls those two poles more out of the central area. You're getting better and better! :)

I do believe that we share the same mermaidgenes
:-))You have a love and fascination of water just like I do.
This one is nice and a bit intriguing because it´s hard to see the actual size of the poles, and the way they stand almost like silhouettes they could be two lovers standing in the water looking out to the horizon.

Nice detail Michele with the right angel of the sun! Next time you shoot one like this and get a good eye on your surrounding in the frame and crop out anything that distracts the eyes Michele.
See the left of this frame what I mean?

That would be my only advise to you on this nice shot!
