Hi Eb, thanks for the latest series of comments! I've had a few comments about sharpening in various posts, and as I usually only sharpen minimally, it must be the in camera sharpening Fuji uses, although I've been wondering lately if there is something going on with the sensor, as there seems to be a bit more noise or other artifacts than I've seen before. I think you're right about the difference in monitors though, I'm sure there's quite a lot of variation.

Dave, I have been checking your images and find the sharpening effect consistent. It seems this is the way your camera handles images. I am likely remarking on it now because I have changed monitor - this one is very bright and sharp. I can only imagine how our images differ on the basis of so many variety of monitors in various states of calibration.

I don't know what the duck might think.... but isn't that pond too gorgeous for it?It might end up thinking it is a peacock!The patterns on the water are FANTASTIC!!!
