About I like to see these three flowers. One is much older and faltering, one is in its prime, and one is yet to bloom.

I picked these three because of the relation ship of age, but also due to the lighting (sort of back and side lighting).

Shot in apeture mode set to f/2.8. Photoshop only used to crop and frame (no other alterations). I like that Velvia color.
