Good thing that this beautiful place wasn´t turned into a nightmare of flashlights, neonlights, signs, rides etc. It´s good hanging on to some of the old values not destroying everything just because of profit. What will then be left when we really need the beautiful old architecture and the special atmosphere?? Best wishes, Annemette

The white house on the hill is Gütsch, a small wonderful castle which is now used as a hotel and restaurant. Michael Jackson said that he wanted to buy it but thanks heavens he lost interest and so we don't have to fear Disneyland in Lucerne. You can see the whole city at the lake from up there. (And they make great icecream ;-))
