Yes Dev, it's a composite of two images. One taken on Sunday evening when the moon was obscurred by clouds - exposing for a silhouette gave a blown out moon (on that night there was no detail to the moon because of the clouds). Last night, I exposed for the moon. Putting the two images together I was left with a large circle from the prior evening - hence the proportions.

Well, the moon looks very big. Obviously, you have taken the moon from another snap and made an attempt to merge it. I should say, it's a nice attempt. But, the proportions doesn't work well.Maybe a smaller size moon will do the trick.
these are just my thoughts, you may disagree.
