Excellent photoart portrait! The placement of the apple and its colour is perfect to convey you idea, as an extension of Eve. Despite the blownout areas, I think that this image is very powerful, the detail is very well achieved.

They have tasty-looking apples in Krasnoyarsk. ;)
On this photo, the shadow regions are just fine, so try using Photshop's Image > shadows and highlights adjustment (returning the shadow slider all the way left) and darkening the highlights just a little, as her arm is really blown out.
