About I have tried to create a dual function image; one that captures an essence of reality and one of fantasy. The edges of the image are the "reality" & the center the fantasy. The "beard" in this image contains what appear to be petroglyphs (fitting for the region of the original photo)but they are totally the result of image fusion. Blew my mind when i first saw them. You may have to enlarge the image to see them. Note also the "apparent human face sculpture. Again an artifact of the fusion process.

i can see where your going with the dual function image,(reality-fantasy), never heard of it being called the fusion process,. to me this is a CMS, crop mirror stitch, if you find these mirror images fascinating, i recommend the kaleidoscope programe, a fun toy,. i have a few mirror images on here myself, but as yet to produce one from the kaleidocope,. enjoy,. regards art,.

It looks like a giant Rhino face lying on bones. I think you have successfully achieved what you were looking to do and I like it. Good job.
