I probably should have made the "explanation" for the beaky nose and partial eye in the "about"...

Dearest Shirley...
I was waiting for that comment about her eye... :)lol... and you have a good eye and see it, (which I knew you would).
I was very deliberate in lighting, positioned and shooting this portrait, Dear Shirley. I did not want more of the eye to show, but to still make it apparent, yet more "beady".. like a bird. This is also the reason for the shadow on the nose, like a bit of beak really!
But these were my intentions, and not to everyone's taste.
I always appreciate your comments my friend... and thank you so much from my heart!:)

My Dear Srna!
Thank you so much... the colour version is almost the same. PC work was minimal. Today, I am not is such a colourful "mood"... lol.. so desaturated this image almost completely... just a touch of colour remains.
