Thanks, Mike. I've been taking photos in front of the fireplace for 14 years -- and some years it was sheer torture. Here's an outtake from the first year.
The photos in the background are all my Christmas pictures from the previous years.

I particularly liked this one because of its spontaneity. Re: my two "hams," this is true, although my son is more so than my daughter. This year, she refused to hold the "Merry Christmas dachshund" -- a true family heirloom.

Very nice. Out of this series this is my favorite as it shows off your love for photogrpahy. The reason I say this is the large ammount of picture framed on the mantel. Great work!
