Beautiful composition. Lovely colors. Front flower is a tad soft. But, as you are probably aware, a very difficult achievement on macros to get the entire comosition sharp. regards

Hey Stuart, another great floral macro. That sharpness is amazing. I guess it would be even better with a slightly deeper DOF, so that the front of the flower would be in focus as well, and perhaps without that white area at the bottom touching the stem.
I wanted to ask, what lens do you take these with? Do you use extension tubes?
I recently got a set of ext. tubes, and my neighbours have a very beautiful flower garden, so I want to try my hand at something like this. Could you possibly spare some time to give me any technical tips? My address is m_maceas@yahoo.com.au. Thanks.
