Hi Michele,
Nice shot. I like Annemette's suggestion about the crop. If you take of the footprints, it brings you a second advantage to the composition.
The subject, your shadow, will move out of center more to the right part of the image.
The only problem is that you cannot change the crop to much on the right side if you want to keep the standard format. Because you also have to cut a part away from the upper horizon. All seen from the perspective of my position as viewer. Great idea and the colours of your shadow and snow fit well into a peaceful view, my friend.

The feet in the snow....yeah sounds like something Id do for sure! but hey ......In a way if you start to thinking abou this image. I believe it could be used as a plus somehow in the composition.........Not sure but great job Michele!

Dear MIchele
I like the typical glow from the ice and snow in this photo and your shadow adds sth. nice to the image. Maybe I would crop off the footprints OR include them more- donīt quite know:-)
