Wonderful image, Eb! The two ducks are beautiful and perfectly captured, and the green water dotted by white spots is awesome. Excellent :)Ina

Pat - not silly to get rid of things. Quite a few years ago I was busy collecting some nice target rifles. I worked out a deal with my wife to always get rid of an old one to buy a new one! I felt a lot less selfish that way. The 200mm. is like the one you talk about years later - damn, I shouldn'a sold that one! Why I used to capture a gnats eye at 100 paces and count all the facets. There will never be another like it! ;-)

Eb - As silly as it sounds, I have to sell an old (relatively un-used) jeep that just sits in the garage!! keh.com is working with me on the trade for the 200m. I wish I knew you were wanting a 200mm, we could have likely worked out you getting it. I will email you if anything like this comes up again in the future. It really bugs me to part ways with the 200mm, I just had it sitting around in it's case. If you do decide to get one, I highly recommend it for macro work. It is VERY well built, non-plastic and beefy. I just hope I don't regret it.

Eb - I simply am not using my micro lens enough. I found a photo supplier that is willing to do some trading.

Thanks, Pat! Never seen a f/1.2! I use the 50mm. f/1.4 occassionally when the light is low. The f/1.2 must be an interesting piece of glass to add to your collection - if the price is right! ;-) I would still like to get a 200mm f/4 micro, but most of the big glass is out of my price range.

Eb - A shot with it all! Sharpness, details, colors and reflections. Nicely done.

PS - Have you ever used the Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 AIS? I am looking into one.

Excellent nature shot, Eb! I like the branches in the water, it really gives atmosphere to your shot.
Dave.
