About Yes, that tiny speck is indeed comet McNaught. There was only 1 day that was clear enough to see the comet while it was visible in this part of the world. It was pretty neat to see, even if it was for only 30 minutes or so.

Hi Christian. Well, I did manage to record about 8 or 10 such moments before the moment passed. I was happy to have at least seen it before it disappeared to the southern hemisphere. Cheers, Gary

Yes indeed, I was lucky, Riny! Since there are mtns here that block my view I had to drive 15 minutes outside of town to see it and that day was about the only clear one there was after I found out about it. Cheers, Gary

Thanks Guido. From the pictures I've seen, it's 10x better in the southern hemisphere than what I got to see here, but it was still neat. I got lucky and heard about it on the internet that it was visible for a few days up here. Cheers, Gary
