First of all thank you for your comment and your suggestion. I like the way the sun is centered in the middle. For me that's almost the only point in this picture that you can look at. The two parts combined with the sun is giving it the depth I like. (but that's personal of course).
The black dots in the water are ducks and I like these creatures. Further I couldn't wait for a few seconds more because it was a sunset and not a sunrise, meaning I already was a bit to late...
Hi Lars! I like the warm tone in this image, however, IMHO, I feel the composition needs some work. The fact that you have composed the horizon almost at the center has divided the image into two equal size propotion. This is fine if you have a reflection or something which demand perfect symmetrical effect. However, as for this image, the viewers are force to compare as which portion of the image is more interesting, creating unescessary competition. The sky seems to me in this case is a bit more interesting then the water, I would suggest more sky rather than more water. Try a 7:3 or 5:8 combination. That way too, you have have the darker section of the image closer to the base, it would increase stability to the shot. You may also want to clone out that dark dots on the water. I wonder if it would be a stronger image if you could just wait for a few more secs for the sun to show more? My two cens. Cheers!
