It was actually an 8 sec exposure (not available in drop down) and I have since modified it in the info section. Still . . . the effect is the same . . . sleepy birds . . . just beginning to stir. We brought food and did get some amazing shots! :)

Dawn: know nothing about that, as you are aware.
IR: know nothing about that either.
What I do find interesting is how LITTLE movement there was for a 10s exposure, especially among the majority of birds - guess they were all still asleep!

Doyle - I am not a big fan of IR but in this case the result is subtle and the foreground blur does work as you intended. I like this much for the mood, composition and the subtle IR.

WOWWW!!
Very peaceful mood captured here with the b&w tones more condusive to the effect than color.
The palm trees have a dreamy look which ties in the blurred birds.
Very nice image Doyle.

I shoot between f8-f13,never thought of f36 because at that aperture I am losing image quality
plus I love to soften my images.
