maybe the sun faded colour print look would have also worked here and also been in keeping with the dating of the houses? Such a wonderful glob of raincloud Doyle!

Thanks Dave, my brother . . . Hard for a photog not to spot this sky . . . but your sharp eye picked up on the Teeeeeasing leeeeetle hint of blue, huh? I wanted it to go almost subconsciously but should have known your eagle eye would scope it out!! Any more obvious would have been (IMO) way too distracting . . . any less, why bother? You know . . . the balancing act! LoL!
Thanks for the comment!

Excellent landscape, bro. Such a dramatic sky, I can see why you focused in on this scene. I do like the sepia, makes it look all the more dramatic.
Even though you desaturated, it sure looks like a little bit of faded blue is still present on the water, which adds a lot of depth to the photo!
Best wishes, Dave

Now you see Tim? Comments like that make me think you are pretty cool no matter WHAT everyone else says!! LoL!
The fisheye makes for great cityscapes and landscapes since it is SO wide angle. Distortion correction usually follows and is necesary . . . but sometimes I prefer the distortion.

Your stuff is well worth the time to me. although i am mainly interested in landscapes for the most part. I like the use of the Fish-eye. I had never really considered using one much in Landscape until seeing what yours were like. Very inspiring

Wesley:
Thanks for the comment and critique. Hilltop perspective (in correcting the hilltop) was, indeed, very difficult. Side effect from the fisheye. I completely agree . . . but haven't the skill yet to do more. Still . . . I could NOT resist the sky.
The beveled frame was just something different. Not sure I care for it either. Thanks for the feedback!

Marvelous shot, I like the soft tones and great contrast between static subject and dynamic sky. Imo the perspective on the hilltop needs some more work, and the frame doesn't really fit this piece of art.

Love the sky and the sephia tones is perfect.
We're so fortunate to live along one of the most beautiful coastlines.
