Thank you very much for this info, Marlyce. Both of you take excellent photos with the D50, but also because you have the eye and skills for it. I see some with very expensive cameras taking not very good photos and the other way around. It´s nice if both having the eye and a good camera:-) Maybe I´ll have a closer look at that camera. Thanks for helping me:-) Have a nice weekend Annemette

Thanks Annemette. Doyle started with the D50 and when I wanted a new camera I told him to give me the D50 and he could get a newer camera....at the time he looked a few others but decided he like the D50 best.......so I got the new camera. I really like it and so does Doyle. He does lots more manual adjustments than I do (probably why he gets more awards) but I am happy with what it does. I would look at buying on-line from Nikon might save you some money.

Superb shot, Marlyce! The clarity and colours are awesome and so is the angle and composition. Wonderful dogs with patient expressions:-) I see you have a NikonD50. That is the one Doyle gave you I suppose. Is it good and intuitive to use? I´m slowly starting to read about DSRL, but it has to be the right one that I buy because they are very expensive in Denmark. Take care Annemette

Thank you Robin.......the one out front ate the SOFA----only Doyle calls it a loveseat. And looking at the expression on her face here, something might be looking mighty tempting. She is a sweetheart (as long as she is not left alone and bored), it will just be a long time before she lives down eating the SOFA.

What a great, well composed shot Marlyce...excellent exposure and dof...paid off to get your chin in the dirt! Hard to believe one of these well behaved pooches actually ate the loveseat. :)
Take care...Robin

Thank you Onie........you are one of the few that recognize that these little guys really have legs :) The one closes to the front is Doyle's little girl...and she does not like to be this far away from him. The sky was the tricky part. The dogs are uphill and I am down.......down on my stomach with my chin in the dirt just to try to get some blue in the background......lucky for me I saw Doyle's pictures and he did not get that shot.

Thanks Jan. The pups had the look in their eyes of "we are just some wild dogs out here on the prairie", that was until I mentioned to them that they were wearing leashes and collars.

Marlyce -- Wild yes but prairie dogs no. I have seen these little ones before but never get tired of seeing more of your Korgie's. So cute! --Best regards, Jan
