a face only a mother would love!...LOL...just joking 'cause we all need to show the love to all creatures great and small...this one from a distance,tho'!...i remember being terrified at a young age being in a canoe in the swamps which was the gator's hood...been there, done that, and i can live without repeating THAT experience! ;>

good choice to convert to B/W...this seems to my eye to have a slight diffused look which actually gives a bit of a soft touch to this gator....

regards,gayle

Yes IŽm also most of a feather/furry-enthusiast:)
Still I like all kinds of animals, but IŽll never sit and pet a crocodile again.

Annemette, I agree, I don't want to brush his teeth either. And you are crazy for touching one. I have owned snakes and currently have a tarantula and a monitor lizard that is at least 2 1/2 feet. I touch the tarantula when D hands it to me and I pet the back of the lizard while D holds it....me I prefer feathers and furries.

What a smile! I wouldnŽt want to brush his teeth...although I did go out a couple of times in Thailand to touch some crocodiles sitting there beside them. Awesome experience but crazy when I come to think about it, as they move so fast. I know how to "read" the signals from many animals, but not so much a crocodile.
Best wishes
Annemette
