About	Late at night we could hear the singing had stopped but there appeared to be lots of activity. We tip toed outside and overheard that Gene had been heard from. Seems he is being held captive in a warehouse and made to sort packages. A rescue mission took form with the vigil keepers sneeking off in the night by candle light to find and bring Gene home. The leader is a very old gnome carring a lighted lantern as the other pass candles along the line. We could hear soft chanting "Gene, Gene, Gene". We have high hopes for what tomorrow will bring. We have put the ice cream in the freezer and added Poppers.....lets all keep our fingers crossed and keep singing in our hearts.

Safe from fire but the ash and air totally bite!!! The smell isn't too hot either! Orange, sunset sky at 2:00pm. And freekin' HOT!
