Great detail and well composed Albert - The photo has yellow colour cast though - due to the use of the torchlight. A small correction of colour balance in PS could bring out the colour contrast much better I think. Otherwise a great macro. Kind regards. Joggie

Hi dear Mary,
In this shot there is maximum about 10 cm between subject and camera. The spider was about 5 mm length. So it's more a view about "beneath your feet"
So I hope this view didn't upset you to much. I must say I don't like spiders also. Photography challenged me to get away of my fears.
But shooting this small creature was a great adventure . Simply loved this performance of the spider.

Hi dear Nicole,
Thanks, I can imagine that this spider causes trouble. Imagine that this one is only 5 mm (maximum). It was one just "beneath you feet". You saw her eyes,, maybe that changes your POV ?

Hi Luis,
Thanks, the technique is not so diffeicult. Major challenge is a good composition with nice colors. On that part, I am satisfied by this one.

Most excellent, dear Albert! It is interesting how the texture of the spider echoes the texture of the blossom.:)
