About How many times do we use that expression. "Wait !, I'am ready in 3 seconds". It just takes...
Time for me, to put this into a view. It took only 3 seconds of time, fading away..

Oh, yeah. This is a perfect macro, Albert. Nice and crisp, with a fairly deep field of focus.

Hi dear Aniko,

I'am a patient person, so I just wait to see what happens, my friend.

I can imagine that finding time is difficult, when you are running doing a million things...

I just want you to know, when you find time I'll be there.., waiting for you and for maybe a nice conversation...

Warm greetz and huggsss...

Astrology in its full form (not plain old Sun Sign Astrology)is a strong interest of mine, but does not govern my Life. It is like another language... I enjoy languages :) And many many other things.

I would be happy to write to you personally, Albert... I cannot say when that might occur! I am always running around doing a million things...

I agree, perhaps speaking in Usefilm forum about other things (aside from photography) might be too much. :)

Take care!
Best Wishes and Hugs~
Aniko :)

Hi dear Aniko,

No secrets to hide and none to share, so it has to be.

I skip the astrology, because it is interesting but only one aspect of being. And as "Waterman" I must admit that I do not have strong connections with astrology. When I skip the crap, there remains personality.

About myself. If a person quotes to give me maximum freedom that's one thing. If the personality of that person on the same time proves by behaviour claiming me to much, I intend to say goodbye.

So I think it has nothing to do with intentions or quotes, but everything with daily practise of behaviour.

Nevertheless, I believe you are a very fine Leon ! I like people who stand for their believe (like Leons do).
If you call yourself "fire cat" that's done to express something important for you.
I am curious to know what that is, and how important it is ?

To the sign of "waterman/aquarius". I can recognise myself in the description. I see myself as an individualistic human. I have no bounds with religion nowadays, I believe in humanism (from philosphical point of view). I know that I need my free space to do what I like. I am not to social but enjoy the company of a few close friends. Not daily, but now and then. I like nature, can be there for days. Hope I explained a bit, but I know this medium is not sufficient to do so. My e-mail adress is: ajhm.jacobs@home.nl (you're welcome).

Warm greetz and huggsss...

And so it should be Dear Albert!

Who does not enjoy the water running through the fingers... even this fire cat...???? :) :) :)

I am interested in what you say in regard to a Leo (woman) being "too strong" for a water-bearer. Naturally, we speak here only of Sun Sign Astrology... that aside... I feel you hit the point! I adore my husband, always... yes, I am strong... and perhaps he did not like my weak moments ( I have Moon and Mars conjunct in Pisces...really such a softy I can be...)
Now I am being sentimental and I must be BOLD... always... as BOLD AS LOVE ( as Jimi Hendrisx so well states).. and I am that I am.
I have no secrets to hide nor to share... (that is from a line of one of my own poems)
I am happy to have you as a friend.
Thank You...
Aniko :)

Hi dear Aniko,

Thanks, and I must admit that I like it when water runs through my fingers, and not being able to hold it. A bit the story of the fool on the hill..

I can imagine that a Leon cat is too strong to life with a waterman. Hope it didn't bring to many scarves ? Cause I know what the power of a waterman can realise (lol)

I totally agree with you on your view about freedom. I experience this in so many situations:
talking closely and hugging with my love, driving into the warm sundown on my motorbike and walking for days deep into the woods with only essential stuff around us in a backpack.

Warm greetz, dear friend,
Albert Jacobs

Ah Albert... you are not a waterman, but a water bearer! :) Your sign is air. One needs a vessel to carry water in, as it is a bit tricky to hold water without a vessel. Even in cupped hands, water will run through your fingers. Perhaps your vessel is the clouds... lol...
I know many Aquarians. Even married one, but he changed his mind after 7 years of living with this Leo fire cat! LOL! Ah well... Perhaps it was his need for "freedom", though I promise I didn't have him locked up in a dungeon or anything. I believe that all individuals have the right to be free and remain individuals whether married or not.
But I ramble... as usual...

I still love this image :)

Warm Wishes to you,
Aniko :)

Hi dear Sascha,

You're right, here I was a lazy photographer fixated to see quick if this time idea could be visualised as I had it in mind. So content was more central than quality.

In the majority of my photos I only used little lower or higher saturation or/and contrast.
The exeptions are the composites.

Further I removed at a few photos disturbing background, specially in the photos of the Garlic and Eternity.

So, this one - as a need - I regard on as a useful training in the use of PS (lol)

Warm greetz my friend,
Albert Jacobs

Albert I know what you are talking about about the difficulty of PS. I work with it everyday, but i am surely not a pro. I don't even know all tools of PS. But I know many key short cuts, they indeed save your time. I am always try to find out how different tools work and especially look like.
But mostly I try to take my pictures so that I don't have to use much PS. This shows the quality of a photographer (if a user of a camera can use his equiptment). The rest you do in PS is just playing arround.
You surely know how to use your camera and know how to use it right.

All the best my friend.
Greetings Sascha

Hi dear Aniko,

Thanks, I am glad my about is recognizable for you. Unfortunatly, I use this "time-trap" a lot. One of my bad habits, to put my interests more central than my social responsibility. Maybe, as being a waterman (aquarius) and as a real individualist loving my freedom, that plays part with me ? In general, I don't feel a problem but I know people around me sometimes do.
So most of the time I try to find a certain balance between the two. Shortstory, out of ordinary life.

Warm greetz,
Albert Jacobs

Hi Sascha,

Thanks, it took me quite some time to do this in PS. I usually manage to reailse what a want, but still have to learn a lot about more effective (time-saving) use of these tools. Maybe I trust to much nowadays on PS.
It was a (to) quick first shot of the concept of time I had in mind, although lightconditions were bad at that moment. I was more focused on shuttertime in relation to the view of the secondspointer on the watch. As an amateur I have to use the available moment, always a dilemma, shoot or wait ? Mostly since digital, I decide for the first option, because it offers 2 chances.
Sharing some thoughts about time...

Friendly greetz,
Albert Jacobs

Hi Albert. Incredible what you have done with the image, when I look at the original. The oroginal has no contrast, levels and curves. Great PS work Albert. Very nice approach.
Best wishes, Sascha

Hi dear Shirley,

Thanks, for your comment. I included the original in my comment at Sascha. So you can see what I did to achieve this view by PS.

Hi dear Sascha,

Thanks, for your nice comment. I included the original to given you an idea of what I did with PS to make it look somehow.
It's an image of my old dear watch I wear daily, which I unfortunatly didn't took of before working many times on my house. So there are some scratches and so on.
This watch charges energy from sunlight, so no batteries needed.

Friendly greetz,
Albert Jacobs
