Thanks for such a nice critique, Petal. As you can see, I enjoy combining IR shooting with making panoramas, as was this. The IR is a little tricky to learn at first, but gets easier fast. Regards. Anson

Superb IR shot!!! Wonderful mystical and moody image, fabulous tones, love how you've framed the pic with the two trees at either end, excellent composition... well done!!! Now IR is an area I never ventured into, but now and again I see a pic and then I think... cool... I wonder if... this is one of those... ;-DD

Thanks for stopping, Eli. I really enjoyed my stay in Tuscanny two years ago at an environmental estate known as Spanocchia, about 40 km from Fierenze. Regards. Anson

Your comments are always much appreciated, Bob, coming from such an accomplished artist. Good to hear from you again. Trying to relearn some photo stuff after being away for a while. Regards. Anson

I drove 40 miles to this site yesterday, Robbie, only to have the nice clouds gone when I got there. A bummer. I used the automatic mode in PF, which didn't cut any of the image off; the parts of tree trunks are there for a framing effect. Thanks so much for offering the info, Robbie. I always appreciate your sharing, especially the PF info. Regards, and have a wonderful Easter. Anson

This is a very successful combination of your accomplished wide landscape technique and a beautiful scene. The delicate tonalities on the left are especially good.

Beautiful composed image with excellent tones and framing.
There is a method in PF where you don`t lose any of the image at the ends.I used both methods and was surprised by the results,I think you are using the Manual method instead of the automated one.I will try and set up my old computer for the automated version like the new one which is sooo much faster.
Take care Anson.

Thanks, Rick, for the nice words. This actually was a stitch of 7 vertical shots for this panorama. Florida is a horizontal state, I have found. Regards. Anson
