Hi Meg,
What a nice thing to do .... Thank YOU I appreciate it very much and I do like Your more colorful touch of this image--- especially the grass, and richer , deeper color in the flowers too. I am running out of RAM in my PC so altho I do have PS installed I can't use it--It just stalls- ... I am functioning on a Dell ME if you can believe this .... I use Picassa and Fotofiltre as editing programs--sooo I try my best to take a good shot...lol !!! I just got my Nikon the end of January sooo I also just have the one lens-- I need a lot of stuff !! Or rather I would like it :)))
Thank YOU once again Meg, and don't give up on me- I will either get more RAM , or a new pc , more camera equipment , and be soooo happy to learn whatever you can teach me...I just have to be patient for awhile longer ...
I also hope YOU have a Sunny week-end :)

Michele this is just lovely, a real touch of summer.
I know how you like the strong colours I use so I quickly ran this through Photoshop to see what you think.
I added a little more contrast then used the shadow/highlights tool followed with brightness/contrast and then a little extra colour saturation, then finally to finish just a small amount of sharpening.
As I said, it was just a very quick run through but I thought you might like the stronger resulting colours.

Good one, Michele. We are having major wind, rain ad nauseum here (and it is cold).
Keep these coming to remind me that there probably is "light" at the end of this stormy and dark tunnel. :) Lovely splashes of color and nice detail in this one. It is so amazing how your photo skills have developed in the last few months. Your eye has always been great but now you have the ability to show what you see. The phase you are transitioning into is to make the pictures actually match your vision. Sometimes we record and sometimes we make things conform to the mind's eye. I enjoy looking at your photos.

Oh Thank You so much Guy ! I appreciate the comments and support very much. Soo sorry to hear you have snow-- I know Minnosota ( sp?) and Wisconson ( sheesh that spelling doesn't look right either ..ha!) Anyway we do have a few states here as well as the mountains in Oregon that still have snow as well ... so don't feel like You are alone but I know what yu mean as today was the first day in a week we got a couple Sun-Breaks ... and rain in between, altho that is Or. weather :((

WOW what lovelly colours! Today it snowed here all day! Getting sick and tired of this snow hanging on! Usually we are on the golf course by now but not this year! Thanks for the reminder that spring should soon be here too!
