Thank you Dear LArissa!
I take your point, however I chose to allow the "blown out" (hot-spot) points to remain, if that is what you are referring to... There was auto white balance on the camera, which was operational. In PS,I did not wish to further balance the whites. I like the oddity of this image and that it was shot under a 60 watt frosted tungsten globe, so it biases to being "warm".
Your comments are always warmly appreciated.
Best to you, Aniko :)

Oooooh Ahhh!
You must be psychic Onie!!! I mention your Chesire Cat grin in the about... and here it is! (*insert... "wow... amazing* face here...)
What on earth are you doing up at this hour? LOL!
About the image... well, yeah... the frame is metal with glass ornate "thingos". I think they are "burnt out" (overblown) under the lamp light I was using. I saw it. I could have "corrected it" either before shooting or in PP. I chose not to. I am happy no one has said anything detrimental about those highlights being really over the top! :)
I don't think this is an excellent image, my friend, but I have "concentricity fever" and enjoyment of playing with a digital "toy" (to me... lol) camera.
You're always super kind to me, and also a total HOOOT!
Thanks from my heart... Hugs~ Ani :)

Hi Jan!
Thank you kind Sir!
Well, yeah, but technicalities are not as important to me as the "thing"... :) :) :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has fallen prey to the cursed dis-ease of (lol) "concentricityitis"!
And things do NOT have to be ROUND to have concentricity.
Heavens... my soap box is giving way again... Or is it? Perhaps I am just shouting like a lunar-tick... Tick-tock-tick-tick... a clock is concentric... hehehe.... so is the solar system that shines upon the face of lunar! :)
Aniko clears throat, doing best to be "normal" and serious... But truly, in all sincerity: Thank you Jan. I am pleased you appreciate this image. Soon, however, I am back to using FILM... (though digital is "fun")
Best to you! Aniko :)

~~GRIN~~ Ani... Concentricity... LOL...
'Round and round the garden like a Teddy Bear... ~~GRIN~~...
This is wonderful, as Jan said, those nice metalic tones...:))) That beautiful frame is so very photogenic, and more so with it's treasure held in the core of its concentricity...:)))
Excellent as you always do dear Sweet Ani...:)))
Onie... ~~GRIN~~

Aniko -- Great shot with an unusual metallic look from the tungsten light. Baloney that you cannot be bothered with the technical details; you surely nailed the stuff that matters for this one. This has lovely muted tones and the semi-shallow depth of field is right on. Looks concentric to me (but then everything looks concentric to me since the announcement of this darned project!). --Best to you, Jan
