Oh you are? How wonderful to hear that because not many people dare to jump out in the world of professional art. Yes, having the eye for art and photos means indeed that weīre always "working". Something new always appears - when I started photographing I thought that I would have difficulties finding new motives, but more and more seem to appear the more interested I get:-) Good luck on your painting- may I see some of your work? Take care Annemette

haha yeah i know what you mean. I am a artist by profession. Because of this, i see imagery and compositions everywhere. Sometimes i wish i could turn it off and just be a little less sensitive to what is around me...just for a little while. Most people go to work for 9 hours and go home to whatever they want to do. For us there is no 9 hours it is happening around the clock, for better or for worse.

The answer is no:-) My eyes constantly see sth. interesting which can be a nuisance, but how to avoid it I donīt know! The built-incamera on my hand that I long for must soon become a reality!

Thanks, Onie- when being another place I canīt help but see new photoopportunities- dangerous to have this look because itīs not good to see everything through a lens. Some places have to be experienced with the heart and not the eyes. I try to do both though. Take care Annemette

Thank you so much, Guy- also for the suggestion! I must admit that I prefer having the tiles there too. They reflect in the tiles, and I find the two different patterns somewhat interesting. But I should have cropped the photo indeed and taken the brightest and closest area away on the left leaving only half of the tiles there. Thanks again:-)

hehe....does your eye ever rest from possible compositions...even when in the shower? This is another stunning example of the way that you see things, that intrigues me so much. Maybe you need a waterproof case as well.

Excellent abrtract, I would never guess it was taken in a bathroom. Great contrast in the lines and colours, the blue is electric, very attractive image. I like it a lot. 7+++++++++ All the best, Joe
