Thanks Tycho. I just had a quick look at your portfolio and I have to say it's looking pretty good for a mobile phone! As you suspected, this image is inverted...

WOW, I love these kind of shots, I also try to shoot things like that but my camera is not fast enough because it's a mobile phone . But how did you manage this one? is it upside down or what?

Lovely image. Great colours. It has an unusual fresh vitality about it. Well captured.
So clean and crisp. I love that the water is almost silver, and the plain blue background works very well.

Very cool AJ! The title is perfect! The timing is as well! Love the colors and the lighting! There do seem to be some artifacts that could have been cloned to clean up the shot but otherwise this is super My Friend! Thanks for Your kind comments! Take care!...................John

Still darn good and you really have mastered "dropping". High speed photography is lots of fun and produces those frozen moments that the eye could never see otherwise.

Thanks Jan. Light source was the sun!

Yes, I noticed the white specks and cleaned them up to a certain extent. They appear to result from the bright light shining through the water and onto the plastic side of the tank.

I've done a couple more sessions since with other fruit and veg and will no doubt be uploading more in due course...

AJ -- Looks like a jellyfish wearing an orange on its back. Excellent effect with the dropping technique. What was your light source?
Also, did you notice the white specs embedded in the blue background and in the water? Why are these artifacts showing up? (Maybe the high ISO?).
Using something like NeatImage might have eliminated or reduced the specks.
--Best to you, Jan

Wow! I thought it was a jellyfish but this is much more fun!Keep experimenting, the distorted reflections
and their colours are interesting.
