No not your monitor Paul-- I was wondering myself if the image was over-sharpened..... I think they may be as well.
Thank You for your honest thoughts, and I feel really bummed about your 'Solitude' image....
BUT remember You told me 'You've got to please Your-self ' FIRST- then if others like it - great but if You don't like it - nothing else matters.......

Nice capture again Michele...Not sure if its my monitor or not but Id say it is.....No one else is saying so I think its on my side but the last couple of post seem to be alittle over sharp but still yet wonderful images........

Sure Nicki at least I can tell You what I do know- PhotoFiltre is a free download that doesn't take up much space but it does have frames available ....under Images.... actually it has lots of PP things you can do
Try it - You might really like it - it is pretty self -explanatory but if you have any problems I can tell you the tech stuff - but artistic -wise 'frames' don't come natural to me--haha!!!!

I have been here for 15 yrs. now from Ca. well- via Fla. but I am native Ca. and at first it drove me crazy all the mountains with the clear cut- like a person with a mohawck or something......
Until You mentioned this recently in another landscape image I realized I don't even notice it anymore .....
I am not sure if this is a bad thing , just means I have been here long enough to forget how distracting it can be-LOL!!!! Sorry about that -

Very nice shot of a nice landscape Michele, very well composed and taken. Nice colours, Very nice frame. Too bad about the clear cut logging on the hill in the distance it distracts from the natural beauty of the landscape.

Very good landscape, excellent details, especialy for that small resolution and nice view to the hill that get the greeny colors even it is pretty back into the image and hited like that from the sunlight, (not strong ...blue-purple color there because of the atmospher)
