The photo is great!
After reading the other comments I must say I disagree a bit... The previous comments suggested moving the band to one of the sides - I would suggest moving the band *and also* the girl. I think the band in relation with the girl is perfect, crossing her face in the right place, but I think the whole composition (and not only the band) is too centred.
(was I too confusing? :) )
Just another thing - why did you put this photo in the B&W Abstract project? It is a color photo...

Nice work ... very compelling image. The de-focus, toning and the composition gel well together. I concur with the previous comments regarding the band, but I like the image very much.

You're on a winner Sylvia! The only thing I'd like different is for the stripe to be a little to the right or to the left, it seems a little awkward right going through the middle of her phase! Great job Sylvia :-)
