About Thought I'd upload another waterfall shot; there are so many on the road to Hana in Maui; you have to go off road to find several but a great many of them are right along the roadside.

Rob,

Ok, Now I know that you are my brother and all, but I felt that this shot deserved all the critiquing power I could muster.

1st off, your composition is spot on as always. The way that the falls lead the viewers eyes into the shot is FANTASTIC! I Love the split colors of the rocks, the Vegitation and what brings the shot all together for me is the splash of Color from the red flowers. The Reflections on the water and the ripples from the wind make the shot very moody for me.

Now that I have told you what I Love about the shot and what I think the shot should do for others, it is time to share with you the two things I might have changed.

If you look up towards the right hand side of the shot, there is a piece of wood or something that I would have cloned out of the shot. To me, it looks a bit distracting and takes away from what other wise is a perfect Shot!

The other thing I might suggest would be the taking the two flowers that are floating in the water to the right of the righthand side falls out. I think if they were more towards the middle it would have been cool. but since they are to the back of the shot and difficult to make out. It may have played out better if they wern't there.

Anyhow...You did an awesome job on the shots that I have seen from your hawaii and I can't wait to see more.

Love you Man

Your brother.

This is a beauty - wish Dad and I could have seen a few of these that were "right off the road" Thanks for sharing these so we can see what we missed.
