The internal shadows look a bit artificial and don?t convey the right idea of volume. The composition is good and the intention behind it, quite meritorious.

First, best wishes on your marriage! May you and your husband have a wonderful life together. I thik the detail of your rose is very good. You might have used a higher appeture to get all the leaves in focus. Also, the light might be a little strong which is washing out the pink just a bit. Overall a very good picture of something very special!
