Hmmm . . . seems soft, likely due to the shutter speed . . . and that reinforces the thinking of the shot and the intention as well . . . I DO like the three bands along the waterline . . . but not too sure about the contrast in the midtones especially . . . although defining it somewhat sharper would likely kill the effect you're seeking. I think you found what you were looking for, though it's not for me. Great color though. :)

Thanks John. Acutally, this is a big cheat. The beach is absolutely packed at present with baking bodies. This was taken last winter...

Good shot AJ, high contrast as you show us a tower of coastgard but nobody there, even to entire coast, sad feeling of ending summer, good one!
