Pete,
This mare looks about how I sometimes feel on my way home from a long day at work. Head drooping, tail dragging. If she'd just take the time to look around her, she'd see the beautiful scene that she is a part of.

I usually won't comment on photos unless I can find something at least remotely original to say about them, but this one is just to utterly remarkable to go unmentioned.
It doesn't even look like a photograph to me, it's beyond that. Highly cool.

This is a good photo. It leaves me with a feeling of sadness. I suspect it lies in the posture of the subject he/she looks depressed? Hungry, cold but to my eyes sad. For me a photo with a message is a great one.

great mood in this one. i could give the horse a zillion different emotions. the sky behind the horse is perfect. makes me not even want to see the color one. 8)

Even though I haven't seen the color version, I really do think I prefer it in Black and White. The mood is great :-)
