I'm sorry to hear that. I couldn't agree more, Nikon is knocking on the door with their new models. Unfortunately, I feel there a lot of Canon buyers that unaware of these issues and are quite happy. I met one such 40D owner last weekend.

Well If you look at my second to last shot it was with the 40D, and my last shot was with the 30D, the problem with the 1d III exists with the 40D, I couldnt get it to lock on anything with any lens, so it went back...
Canon needs to get on the ball!

How do you like the 40D? I had a 1D MIII on order but refused delivery after hearing about all the AF problems people were having. Once Canon has adequately dealt with this issue I may be interested. What has been your experience with the 40D capturing birds in flight in AI Servo?

Very nice Joe, pretty sharp and crisp, hard to do with BIF. I like the colours, exposure and lighting. Well done.
