Such a wonderful shot. The blue plane against the blue sky makes a great image.

Faster than a speeding bullet (train),
More powerful than a steaming locomotive,
LOOK! Up in the Sky!
It's a Bird! (click, click)
It's a Plane! (click)

...what? That's it. it's a plane. :P

Great shot Marcus! Leave it to you to shoot the ONLY female pilot on the team! :)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Hi Marcus,
A different kind of bird for you this time!
Excellent image!
I would be interested, like Mehul, where were you when you took this one? It sure looks like one of those shots that was taken from a plane right beside this one. If not, how did you make it look that way?
Andre

Marcus -- Great capture! Just as crip and well presented as the other birds you shoot. Well done.

I guess it would be tough against a blue sky, glad to hear in the other forum that your new copy of 40D is working out better than the first, but seems a bit harder to get what you want. Imagine, if you have to work harder, what it would be like for the rest of us. I can't comment on each of your BIF shots, because it would get boring and repetitive, but I'll sum it up here, they are all out of this world and among the best to be seen, simply great work, nice to view. Best regards, Art.

Not much to say about this Bird...Very, very nice. I agree, not often when you can get a "background". Thumbs-Up.

Cheers,

Bill

This is a beautiful F/A-18 Hornet "bird" capture, am not sure which one is the most difficult to capture the real or this one :)
Thanks for asking,, passed months were the busiest for me, now back to normal life.,

Saeed

Awesome shot Marcus,
Did you take this picture from another plane?
I agree with Dave, this background is a more interesting option.
I bet you this "Metal Birds" are a lot easier to shot than your usual hawks.
Best.

Great inflight shot of this bird, Marcus! I like the background, too, which makes it a little more interesting than the standard blue sky shots. Almost looks like you took it from another plane in the formation.
Dave.
