A very lovely French town at the gateway to Provence which really manages to blend very well with the stunning landscape around it. While I was there the main peloton from the Tour de france shot through, I don't think Velvia and a Pentax 67 were the ideal combination to record it though. C'est la vie mon amis.
I used a very long exposure at twilight to deliberately cause some movement in the clouds which seemed to radiate and emanate from behind the central peak. A polariser was used as a 2 stop ND filter.
A beautiful image. Looks like your technique results in very similar dynamic range to HDR techniques with digital cameras that I have started to experiment with. Neil
The f22 f/stop worked out great for this image Ian, Everything is in perfect focus. The longer sutter speed worked great too in combining all the light into a perfect picture. I look foreward to seeing more of your work. Very well done!!! 7++ Bill
