well she looks less than 2 years old.. precious age.. sharp image and sharp colors.. a long range lens does help in getting good portraits of this kind. And you really need a high speed auto focus lens in capturing a moment like this. A Manual focus lens would not get you far, as you fiddle around with the focus, the child would loose interest..
