About I was experimenting with reflection in this shot. I like how it turned out, except for the fact that you cannot tell that the hand belongs to the girl in the reflection. How could I have done this better?

Great shot. I think the fact that the hand is composed at an angle that does not line up to the body reflection in the mirror adds interesting appeal. It really makes the viewer stop and think about it. Otherwise, it would be just another great photo. This one makes you think - is that her hand?? :)

thats a really nice idea...composition works well too
i agree about the focus on the hand..shallow DOF is a good idea too..but personally for me, for some reason it doesnt go so well in this image..

also the middle finger for some reason looks too large..

the reflection part works really , the hand part may be improved in terms of light and focus

I think you can tell it's her hand, but it does take a moment to recognize it. You might have a stronger visual parallel if you could get the hand and its reflection all in focus by stopping the lens down more. Also maybe include a bit of the sleeve in the frame.
