thanks valery for your very helpful comment . i love panorama. this my first attempt . i did the stitching using the bundled software of canon . i'll try the softwares that u suggested.

I do mostly panoramas myself so I think I can give you some advice. The best stitching software can merge more than one row of images. Thus we will not have the feeling that the bottom is cropped. And that software can stitch without bands in the sky. Some people insist PTGui is the best, I agree, but I use Autopano Pro for most of my work. I use PTGui only occasionaly. The use of such applications is very simple. No need for tripods, no need for even horizon.
