About	While walking in the redwoods, I came across this Banana Slug on the trail. It is a relation to the snail but has no shell. It can grow to 5 to 7 inches in length. The coloring varies from black and yellow to all yellow. They are great gardeners for the forest as they help process the fallen debris on the forest floor to compost.
