Hi Kate and thanks for your kind comments. The shot is all one, I must admit to also thinking that they are two separate pictures but I can only reiterate that they are one.
Hi Stuart, when I saw the thumbnail I thought that the background could have been blurred (as usual for portraits), but now I can see that the scenery behind Claire is also very beautiful. Did you also take a separate shot of the landscape? Claire is a charming girl, you managed the light very well and DOF is amazing. Maybe if she were a little off the center of the picture, it would be even better. Regards, Kate.
The background is really lovely. I wouldn't mind seeing her off to the side a little bit instead of right in the center -- maybe that could be a future idea. That doesn't mean I don't like this one, though, that is just an idea.This is still a really great one. The brightness really adds to the photo too and I love the way the wind is catching her hair a little....
