About I don't normally photograph flowers in my front garden, but this tulip was catching a small shaft of sunlight. I saw that I couldn't resist. Tulips have a special meaning in Ottawa, they are a permanent thank you from Holland to Canada.

Well seen, I see that effect often but you took the time to take the image. I was surprised it was a older digi cam.

Although there does not seem to be a light-source behind the tulip, it looks almost transparent. The effect is enchanting.
