Sean, I "should" say it was an elaborate setup of several studio srobes with softboxes and umbrellas; but the truth is that it is late window light this afternoon. The Hybiscus is in for the winter and while spring is all around it still lives in our southern exposure window. As I passed by this afternoon (5 ish) I noticed how the light was dancing across the petals. I went t get the tripod and the camera (film is free with a digital so shoot what ever you want). I made 2 frames, the first was soft. The strong light comes from the side and lights more of the front.
