About And here is the guitar from the image VH-1. I hope I managed to put the image well on the front of guitar body.

Any comments would be very welcome.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Gimena! I wish I could somehow play such a guitar, but I still like my own in pink best! :-)

Cheers,

Nick

I'll come later on to your offer for help, Gustavo, but I say a big thanks already here. I must learn a lot more in PS before I am able to do it really good.

Cheers,

Nick

There are no reflections here, Gustavo. Again it is a multiple exposure - a fourfold one, to be more precise. I don't know if it is some window to music. Well perhaps, in some distant sense, but not out of any certain intention. I just like the guitar design of Eddie Van Halen very much, that is putting much of a twisted look on it. Making it look just about insane. And so I used multiple exposures in order to mimic that look. It's only Rock'n'Roll but I like it, you see! ;-)

Thanks a lot for the nice comment,

Nick

Thank you very much, Andre!

I remember when I was compiling this series, it was a drug to get the right selection of the guitar face, and to also give the selection the right amount of feathered borders. This took the most time to achieve, but I saved the image with all the layers and used it over and over again to let the layers with the multiple exposures to "shine through". The result was nice enough for me - it doesn't look simply pasted on for my eyes, but somehow like being worn off on the edges. And this is something I like very much in general on guitars.

Several of them will follow in the next days, but this one is one of my favorites also for the brown look that reminds me of the brown sound of Eddie Van Halen. (Or chocolate sound, if you like.)

Cheers,

Nick

you have spent quite some time on this one. The guitar face takes on a whole new dimension now.
