About This guy was watching over his harem, but obviously not all that alarmed. Low light and from a bit of a distance - I didn't have permission to cross the fence!

I know Lethbridge quite well - Played a lot of ball down there in my younger days, and have a Grandfather there now that we get down to see a couple of times a year - Thanks again for the comments Dave...

Hi, Kerry. I live in Lethbridge, just south of you. But I often find myself at your new arena, to watch my youngest son play hockey. In the city of Lethbridge, the mule:white-tail ratio is about 5:1.

You've got a diverse wildlife portfolio -- great work.

Equal numbers of both around here, but these guys tend to get exceedingly dumb in October/November when they start chasing the girls around! Thanks for taking a look Dave!

This nicely illustrates the difference in structure of the horns, comparing white tail deer with these mule deer.

Awesome shot, low light gives it a natural realistic shot of how things were at the time. Great!!! Gary

Thanks Ken - I got a few shots of this guy, but picked this one specifically because of the placement of the doe...

Thanks Debra - No, this one is actually from late November. I had stored it away to disk and forgotten about them! I got some pic's of a group of about 25-30 mulies yesterday and only the little spikes and forks still had their horns - the big guys had all dropped theirs a few weeks ago from what I've seen of the group in the past while...

Hi Kerry: Wow this is gorgeous despite the low light. The detail is still very good. Is this a recent photo? I havent seen antlers like this around lately, in fact I captured one the other day with one large antler, the other one gone. Check out my finds from hwy 773 this morning. Deb
