About Another winter morning with that kind of strong sunlight. It seemed to me that bit of softer focus could bring some of that "aged" look, but I am not sure about it, when I look at it now. Any comments would be very welcome.

Modern Amazon

When the lights go down

The irrationality of natural growth

The darkness came over the tower

Along the ways

The workers got into the train

A moment of motion

The meteoring artefacts

At the gates of the night

Sorry, I accidentally clicked on the button to send the comment, instead of clicking inside the comment input box, Gustavo. So I start again.

**********Begin of Restarted message**********

Exactly Gustavo! Much like when you see against the sunlight and everything seems to bath in a plentitude of light and broken shines. It is the same thing physically but there will be exactly as many different perceptions as there are different eyes and minds on this world. So again we come to the conclusion that it is *how* we shoot some image of something. For example this scene, it is really anything else than "unusual" or "spectacular". Just an ordinary city and ordinary people. But there is an endless variation of ways of how to take this shot, and sometimes even Nick can achieve some kind of "good look". In his own mind, that is! ;-)

Thanks a lot!

Nick

Another though: The best portraitists are always able to take an image of a face in such a way that it remains "real" but it also looks great at the same time. They seem to be able to recognize automatically the best possible exposure, light, shadow, etc that makes a face unforgetable. Same must also apply to scenes, I think.

Cheers!

Yes, much like when you look against the real sunlight, Gustavo. And so the question remains: Get some real view of it, or rather seek for refuge in the domains of fantasy worlds? Big question to me!
