Hmm i like the blured effect, i really like this shot a lot and think you did a great job. i get tired of seeing perfectly precise photos, they all look the same. so very nice :)
Could you have used a smaller aperture, say f4? You did, of course, focus on the nearest eye, but because of f1.4 the other side of the face is quite distinctively blurred and notices too much. The rest is very nice indeed.
